RVT Ophthalmology

We are a VETERINARY OPHTHALMOLOGY PRACTICE located in beautiful Kelowna, BC and we have an opening for a Full Time Registered Veterinary Technologist.

No special training required – we will provide all the training you need and are open to mentoring a new graduate. Our clinic is a family owned, one ophthalmologist practice with a laid back atmosphere located on a private 15 acre lot.

Business hours are approx 8am to 6pm Monday-Thursday. We strive for a good work-life balance. Very competitive hourly rate ($28 – $36 per hour) based on experience and hours worked.  Benefits package, paid lunches, RVT dues paid, uniform allowance, CE compensation.

Duties include a mix of appointments, anesthesia, surgical and treatment duties in our fully-outfitted ophthalmology hospital.  We are a referral practice only and as such do not do in-house blood or x-rays.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated but a team player. We are a tight team and a family-focused practice with patient care and client service being of utmost importance.
