Registered Veterinary Technologist

Sylvan Lake Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced, full-time Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our team!

We are a privately owned small animal general practice located in beautiful Sylvan Lake, Alberta. We are a Low Stress Handling Certified Facility committed to providing high-quality medicine while creating a positive experience for our patients, clients, and team.

The Position:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• NO WEEKENDS
• Alternating late Thursday Shifts
• Variety of small animal medicine and surgery
• Anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, hospitalized patient care, diagnostics, nursing and client education
• Opportunity to utilize your RVT skills and professional judgment to their full potential
• Modern equipment including IDEXX in-house laboratory, Vetscan Imagyst, ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and therapeutic and surgical laser.

Qualifications:

• Veterinary Technologist / Animal Health Technologist Diploma
• Minimum 5 years of small animal/general practice experience
• Registered and in good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory association
